2019 L.E.D. Playoffs: Championship Weekend (Week 16)

Another competitive season of L.E.D. fantasy football comes to a conclusion this weekend with one of our best finals yet. Two former champions clash in what should be a high-scoring finale.

Dick's Super Game VII: #2 Player Haters vs #4 Huge Hefner

A truly exciting match up between two star-studded teams will take place over the next 3 days. Both teams are relatively healthy and are filled with players in meaningful games as the NFL's playoff picture continues to take shape. Let's take a look at each team.

#2 Player Haters - The L.E.D.'s reigning champion has put together a brilliant title defense all season long. As stated in last week's article, the WRs of the Haters have done a lot to get him back in the title game. So much so, that when breakout star Chris Godwin went down for the season last week, there was no drop off in talent on this team. Julio Jones and DeAndre Hopkins have each turned in another 1100+ yd-6 TD seasons -- good enough for top 8 performances this season. However, Coach Douthit is lacking star power at the RB position. Sony Michel was a fantasy workhorse in the NFL playoffs last year, but has been fairly inconsistent as the New England offense has struggled all year to get going. Add in the fact that the Haters are also going to be leaning on Minnesota's 4th string RB Mike Boone and you'll see this teams glaring weakness. But with MVP candidate Russell Wilson on the field, there is always the possibility of a huge game from the Seattle quarterback.

#4 Huge Hefner - The comeback story of the year is nearly complete. After playing in last years's Princess Cup final and starting the season 0-4, Coach Alkire and Huge Hefner have drafted, wheeled-and-dealed, and waiver wired his way back to his winning ways this season and finds himself back in the L.E.D. championship -- seeking his 3rd title in 8 years.

Following his tried and true method of a RB heavy team, Huge Hefner is lead by RB workhorses Ezekiel Elliott and a rejuvenated Leonard Fournette. However, this time he has the support of elite talented WRs Michael Thomas and Odell Beckham Jr. The only weakness on this roster right now is the streaky play of TE Jared Cook -- who has become the 2nd favorite target of Saints QB Drew Brees.

This game is going to very close and will be decided on Monday Night Football in a crucial NFC North matchup. However, I think one team has a slight edge in talent -- and he'll be adding a third title to his cabinet. Yield's Prediction:

Player Haters: 103.90

Huge Hefner: 108.60
